... is a management consultant with nearly 30 years experience in business, specialising in group dynamics, training and development. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development. She has held senior HR positions in a number of organisations, as Personnel Manager at an international chemical engineering group, as Director of Personnel at The Royal College of Physicians, as Director of Personnel and Development in local government, and subsequently as a freelance management consultant and trainer/ facilitator, working for clients such as the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Unison, the University of Westminster, the University of Bristol, Brasshouse Language Centre and the Institute of Translators and Interpreters. She is a director of The Word Gym Ltd., a copywriting and creative translation specialist with a portfolio of international blue-chip clients.

He has developed and run training courses for managers working in multilingual environments, written papers and given talks on language management and quality assurance, and tutored post-graduate language students studying for specialist translation and interpreting qualifications. He has advised and worked with organisations such as Landeskreditbank Baden-Württemberg in Germany, the Development Bank of Saxony, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, the University of Bristol, Heriot-Watt University, the University of Reading, DaimlerChrysler, the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust and other international businesses. He is in demand as a copywriter specialising in B2B campaigns, especially in highly technologised fields of business, and is also a director of The Word Gym Ltd.
